We dug we delved down
to the core no more hide
did we future’s hope but
soon black it was a divide.
Run or slow down either
was an option for us to
cling to things that sting
it brings a hurt I renew.
Lies don’t know you well,
so let me breathe a truth
amongst lies I am unglued
and fall apart now I do.
In my mind you dissapear
as I dig deep under ground.
I fill dirt over the grave we
are left all dirt I’ve found.
No one will visit our graves
for as rebels we are now left
with none we loved before we
swore we’d love until death.
But I now see all the red flags
that keep me now far at bay.
But your sharp wit my dear is
that which I still love today.
